2. Model-- Where do these paragraphs fit into the plan?
TS: Bullying is a real problem in America.
F: For Example, Robert Nott, in the October 5th edition of The New Mexican online reports that a study released by the White House shows that, "13 million children are bullied each year."
O: If 13 million children are bullied each year, this means that bullying has become a normal part of childhood.
O: Since bullying is normal to childhood, this means that bullying is a serious problem.
F: What's more, Nott reports that, "160,000 kids nationwide avoid going to school because they fear bullying."
O: This means that the bullying is so bad, that kids are afraid of attending school.
F. Also, Nott writes that in the past year, 10 students have felt so terrible about bullying that they "took their own lives as a result of being bullied."
O. Bullying is so widespread that students avoid going to school, and in some extreme cases, they think suicide is better than being bullied.
O. The amount of students who are bullied, the amount who miss school because of bullying, and the number who have recently killed themselves make it easy to see that bullying is a problem in American society.
CS: Bullying should be something society takes seriously: kids sure do.
FACTS FOR MY PARAGRPAH
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. According to a report released by the White House earlier this year, 13 million children are bullied each year. A recent report issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that some 160,000 kids nationwide avoid going to school because they fear bullying.
Mohat and Meier have not been forgotten. Their photos were displayed as recently as last week — along with the images of eight other youths, 13 to 18, who took their own lives as a result of being bullied — on a mural display in the common room of the private Desert Academy on Camino Alire Street.

Argument and Breaking the Format, Part One.
1. Journal: Using the PP format, tell me what the best meal is.
Model:
The best meal is homemade spaghetti.
For Example, it is full of flavor with tomatoes, onions, garlic, oregano, sugar, salt, pepper, and even cheese.
This shows that it is very flavorful.
This also shows that spaghetti is full of healthy ingredients.
In Addition, homemade spaghetti allows for a cook's freedom.
This shows that the meal can be adapted to one's personal tastes.
This also shows that it can become personal.
Since Spaghetti is flavorful, healthy, and adaptable, it is the best homemade meal.
