It's mid-semester, and that's a good time to take stock of class so far. How do you think you are doing in class? What could you do better? What could the instructor do better? How could the instructor help you more? If you had to give yourself a grade on your effort, what grade would you give and why?
2. Portfolio Introduction/Checklist.
We’re almost ½ way through the
semester! Here’s a portfolio check list
to make sure you are on track for your final project, which, by the way,
involves you keeping everything that you’ve done related to this class.
As
of this point in class, you should have:
____Your Diagnostic Essay.
____ Completed the Library Tutorial online and have
starred proof.
____ At least 8 journals.
____ Pages of notes taken in class.
____ 5 versions of thinking skill questions and
answers, either mine or yours, about our readings.
____ 1 origami crane. J
____ Final Drafts of
two essays with stars on them plus the drafts that classmates edited.
____ A blog that I can see your thinking skill introductions, origami crane, and final essays.
If you have
these things, you’re doing great! If
you’re missing some, come chat with me so you can make them up.

4. Have a safe break and return with your completed C/C essay.
